Looking for routes?
Our members have asked us for a list of routes used so they can plan their own adventures. Currently we have a number of files in GPX format of past rides that we can share with you. For windows 10 you can use the GPX Viewer and Recorder to view and playback the route.
Alternatively you can import them into Google My Maps.
To view and navigate on an Android phone we are currently testing the Android App ""Routes - GPX KML Navigation & GPS Tracker" or just "Routes" by Andreas Flosdorf. As long as you have saved the GPX route file to your phone somewhere you can click the red open file button and select the route. The blue navigation button to start navigation of the route. PLEASE NOTE it is extremely dangerous to look down at your phone whilst scooting make sure you pull over safely to review where you are in relation to the route.

- Login to Google My Maps
- Click on the menu in the top left and select "Create a new map"
- Click on the import option
- Drag and Drop the file or select the file from your computer

The Gap Tavern to The Crown Hotel and Return
Difficulty: Moderate Starting at the Gap hotel we make our way onto the Enoggera Creek Bikeway. Its a beautiful path that will take you all the wqay to the RBWH Hospital. It is extremely windy and can be difficult to follow on the map. Once you reach the hospital we jump onto the inner city bike path out to Woollowin where we cut across to the Kedron Brook and the out onto a couple of quiet backstreets that lead up to the crown hotel

Windmills and Wheels
Difficulty: Easy Starting at the Homestead Tavern, you head out through the industrial area of Geebung (recommend this as a Sunday ride for less traffic) you make your way over to Marchant park and through Aspley until you reach the Cabbage Tree Creek Bikeway. You return back via the M1, hoping off at Boondall Entertainment Centre to make your way back to the Tavern.

Springfield Lakes Adventure Cruise
Difficulty: Moderate Starting at Ballistic Brewing in Springfield, we head out and around the Robelle Domain, past the Orion Lagoon and out around the lovely suburbs of Brookwater and Augustine Heights. Lots of lovely scenery and hills! Returning back to the brewery by coming past the Springfield Lakes, Opossum Creek and the Grande Avenue Wetlands |

BRCC - Boggo Rd Crim Cruise - 34km
Difficulty: Easy Starting at the Albion Train you take the cycleway all the way to Victoria Park and then Roma St Parklands. From there you will take the Centenary Bike Path out to UQ St Lucia and across the Eleanor Schonell Bridge to Boggo Rd. Then we returned along the SE freeway bikeway to Southbank for a lunch stop before returning to the Albion Train Station

Sunshine Coast Bubs, Beach and Beers Cruise - 35km
Difficulty: Easy Starting at the Maroochy Bridge Hotel we head out to the river front, cruising through some lovely suburban streets and bushland until we come out to the Marina at Moolooolaba. From here we follow the coast line back along to Alexandra Headlands until we reach the Maroochy River again

BTC Bayside Twilight Cruise 40lm
Difficulty: Intermediate Starting at the Nudgee Beach Hotel, we head out through the Boondall Wetlands - note to self, if it has rained in the past few days there maybe puddles! From there we then head out to Bracken Ride and over the overpass towards the Sandgate Lakes for a cruise round the outer perimeter of the lake before heading over to the Sandgate Foreshore. The return route is via the waterfront past Shorncliffe Pier. There is a steep climb up from the pier to the top of the cliff.

Pub to Pub Cruise 37Km
Difficulty: Easy Starting at the Hamilton Hotel you make your way into the city following the river the entire way where you will join on to the Centenial bikeway as you head out to the Regatta Hotel. The return loop come back via the Goodwill Bridge, aroung Kangaroo Point Cliffs and back over the Story Bridge before returning along the river to the Hamilton Hotel. Note that the section between Howard Wmith Wharves and Eagle Street Pier can be quite busy with Pedestrians.

Sunday Funday Short Cruise 21km
Difficulty: Easy Starting at the Bracken Ridge Tavern we head out to the M1 Bikeway to until you get to North Boondall where you will take a few quiet backstreets through the back of Deagon and the Hockey fields at Curlew Park until you get to Sandgate Station where your hop across the Memorial Park and down to the Sandgate Foreshore. Follow the foreshow all the way to the Hornibrook Bridge here we did a half loop stopping at the viewing platform for pictures. We return to the Tavern view the Deagon Deviation Bike Path.

Coolum Coast Cruise Saturday 15 January 2022
Difficulty: Easy Starting at the Maroochy Bridge Hotel Car Park we head out over the Maroochy River, turning right at Ocean Dr for a cruse around Twin Waters before heading to the brach side paths. Mudjumba beach can get a little busy with pedestrians on the weekend. We follow the coast line towards Point Arkwright and Coolum with view to die for along the way and plenty of shady paths

Sunshine Coast Adventure Cruise 5 December 2021
Difficulty: Intermediate Starting at Cliff Hargreaves Park in Currimundi we head out around the lake edge towards Wurtulla Beach. Some nice shady paths here but they do have lots of twisting turns. The scenery at Wurtulla Beah is spectacular. You then continue along the beach front past Kawana Beach to the Point Cartwright Lighthouse. Then heading back around the shores of the Mooloolah River past some beutiful houses and across the Parrearra Weir on your way back to Currimiundi

Cleveland Lighthouse Cruise 21 November 2021
Difficulty: Intermediate/Advanced Starting at Thorneside train station we head out towards the water passing the Tingalpa Creek Boat Ramp, along the esplanade to Wellington Point. Then making your way through various bushlands and parks to Raby Bay and up to the Old Cleveland Lighthouse. There is quite a lot of road riding so would suit riders comfortable with traffic. The roads are generally quiet on the weekend.

New Farm Park Family Fun Loop 14 December 2021
Difficulty: Beginners This is a nice, short easy cruise for beginners to practice on their scooters with. No major hills or challenges and lots of nice paths by the Brisbane River. Being a short 12 km round trip it will suit almost any scooter type.

Aspley Bush Cruise 7 November 2021
Difficulty: Easy Starting at The Bracken Ridge Tavern we head out to the M1 Bike Path and then through some great leafy paths through the back of Taigum, following the Cabbage Tree Creek Bike Path to Aspley and returning via Fitzgibbon and the Diamantina Park. This is a nice short scoot with a lovely bushland setting and plenty of shade.

2 Bridge Scenic City Loop Scoot 25 October 2021
Difficulty: Easy Starting at Bretts Wharf Ferry Terminal you head out along the fabulous new Kingsford Smith Bike path, following the river past Newstead house and New Farm Park. Continues through Howard Smith Wharves and Eagle Street Pier to cross the Goodwill Bridge at Southbank then across the Story Bridge via the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and return. This was the shorter 27km option on the day for the scooters with less battery power.

3 Bridge Scenic City Loop Scoot 25 October 2021
Difficulty: Easy Starting at Brewdog Murrarie, we headed over the Gateway Bridge to Bretts Wharf Ferry Terminal where you head out along the fabulous new Kingsford Smith Bike path, following the river past Newstead house and New Farm Park. Continues through Howard Smith Wharves and Eagle Street Pier to cross the Goodwill Bridge at Southbank then across the Story Bridge via the Kangaroo Point Cliffs and return. This was the longer 43km option on the day for the scooters with atleast a 20AH battery

Difficulty: Easy Starting at Kippa Ring Train Station we take wide and easy to navigate rail trail paths out through the Mungarra Reserve to Old Petrie Town where we stopped for lunch at the Emporium Cafe for lunch before returning to the meet point.

Difficulty: Easy Starting at the Stafford Tavern we hop over to the Kedron Brook Bikeway and follow this out past the Toombul Velodrome on our way out to Nudgee Beach and then back.

Difficulty: Easy (Can have lots of pedestrians) Starting from the Bramble Bay Bowls Club we cross the road to the path along the ocean and head towards Redcliffe via the HMQS Gayundah Shipwreck and around to Morgan's Seafood, Newport and Endeavor Park.

Difficulty: Intermediate (Lots of turns through the wetlands) Starting Nudgee Beach Reserve Carpark the route heads out along the Kedrom Brook to the golf course and out through the wetlands. Best to avoid the wetlands if it has rained recently as the paths may be wet.
