Important information about Group Rides
We are an Australian based, E Scooter group of enthusiasts with members in Queensland & Victoria and MORE States to come as the scoot laws are relaxed. We are passionate about hosting rides, family friendly events, pub and grub scoots and adventure rides. ScootMasters tends to attract an older clientele as we expect you to RIDE and ACT like adults on our rides. We tend to focus more on the social aspect of our lunch/dinner stops, than on the actual ride itself. Friendships are made, and many lifelong bonds are formed on EVERY SINGLE Ride....
We have a "Riders Briefing" prior to every run so everybody is fully aware of what is expected of them on the ride. Our group ride guidelines are:
We have a "Leave no-one" policy and as such carry, basic tools, tyre repair gear, 2 way radios and basic first aid gear. If you have a breakdown that can't be repaired quickly however....You will need to organise yourself a Taxi or UBER at your own expense...We are rapidly becoming the "Go to" group for amazing rides.
We employ a Ride Leader, Tail Gunner and Wingmen on every single ride. This means, you will NOT get lost or left behind on ANY of our events....We stop regularly to re-group....MAKE NO MISTAKE!!! - ScootMasters host the PREMIER RIDES and you are GUARANTEED to have a good time!
Dangerous riding will not be tolerated (e.g doubling, crazy stunts etc) and you will be asked to leave if this occurs as the safety of our members is very important to us. You must wear a legal helmet, we recommend full face.
Now for the BLURB - By attending ANY of our rides, you agree to ride at your own risk. Neither ScootMasters OR it's ADMINS accepts ANY responsibility for any accident or injury incurred by - OR caused by you on any ride. ScootMasters is nothing more than a social group of friends that invite you to tag along on a community group ride from time to time... LET'S SCOOT! - And remember to stay FULLY CHARGED AND UPRIGHT - RESPECT OTHER PATH USERS....

We have a "Riders Briefing" prior to every run so everybody is fully aware of what is expected of them on the ride. Our group ride guidelines are:
- Do not overtake the ride leader unless permitted to do so
- Don not overtake any Wingmen that are immediately behind the Ride leader
- If you need to overtake, please pass on the right hand side
- Travel in a single file, keeping to the left of the path
- No tailgating! Please keep a safe distance from the rider in front in the event that they suddenly brake
- Be on the look out for pedestrians, cyclists, children and dogs and approach with caution as they can be unpredictable
- When stopping to regroup or have a break please move your scooter off to the side and keep the pathway clear
- When crossing at the lights, please obey cross walk signals, we will wait for all riders to get across intersections safely prior to moving on
- Once you have crossed the intersection please move well clear of the crossing so that other scooters, cyclists, pedestrians can also safely complete their crossing and exit the roadway. Also if you have to stop at a midpoint (crossing island) please park for that there is ample room for other scooters, cyclists and pedestrians etc.
- Keep both hands on the handle bars at all times - We will show you the ScootMasters salute on the day!
- No skidding or hooning
- If you are leaving the ride part way through the ride make sure you let the tail gunner know
